| התוויה | Cloxacillin-Medo is indicated principally in the treatment of infections caused by penicillinase-producing staphylococci. Because of the high incidence of staphylococcal isolates resistant to penicillin G, both within and outside the hospital environment, Cloxacillin-Medo is recommended as initial therapy in patients with suspected staphylococcal infections. Cloxacillin-Medo is also effective in the treatment of other commonly encountered Gram-positive coccal infections.Typical indications include: Respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia, sinusitis. Infected wounds and burns.Osteomyelitis and septic arthritis. Other infections due to staphylococci (including penicillin-resistant strains) such as staphylococcal septicemia, staphylococcal endocarditis, staphylococcal enterocolitis and staphylococcal urinary tract infections. | ||||||
